Domestic Violence Treatment Group Classes – 52 Sessions to meet Probation in California
The goal of our Batterers Treatment Program (52 DV Classes – Usually one per week) is to END Domestic Violence. Our long-range purpose is to end violence and other tactics of power and control (including verbal, emotional, economic, sexual, social isolation) by all participants of our batterers’ treatment program. We provide appropriate treatment methods. Our philosophy is to change long-held patterns of abusive actions and sex-role stereotypes held by ensuring all clients acknowledge the destructive and criminal nature of their behavior and accept responsibility for their actions.
CCP will address each minimization, justification, and rationalization clients mention. Our approach is to constructively confront and replace these with CBT, assertiveness, empathy, and equality techniques in relationships. Cornerstone works collaboratively with many other agencies to establish a foundation of violence prevention, family services and mental health treatment that work to eliminate all forms of domestic violence. We provide victims information on services which include informing them of their rights and reinforce the concept that violent behavior is unacceptable.

Parenting Classes:
This class is a 6-meeting program (12 Lessons), which focuses on understanding the stages of a child’s development. Individual Psychotherapy
Therapy in a confidential setting – Adults and Children.
Everyone goes through challenging situations in life, and while you may have successfully navigated through other difficulties you’ve faced, there’s nothing wrong with seeking out extra support when you need it. In fact, therapy is for people who have enough self-awareness to realize they need a helping hand, and that is something to be admired. You are taking responsibility by accepting where you’re at in life and making a commitment to change the situation by seeking therapy. Therapy provides long-lasting benefits and support, giving clients the tools needed to avoid triggers, re-direct damaging patterns, and overcome whatever challenges they face. Usually, hourly sessions once a week.
Reunification Therapy – Court Approved
Reunification/Conjoint therapy is a therapeutic intervention model with the goal to repair the parent-child relationship which has been disrupted. We work with a parent who has been absent from a child’s life due to substance abuse issues, jail time, or other family court related matters. The goal is to strengthen and develop a secure attachment bond for the child and parent.
